Exactly what is SissyLand? It's a place without a place. Yet, we believe it's a concept whose time has come! It's a place to come to, to talk, to listen and learn and a place to enjoy private time too. In conceiving designing, and building this website we wanted to provide a completely unique, safe and different experience conceived and created by crossdressing males for crossdressing males who also happen to be submissive and those who love them. We wanted it to be a place that doesn't condemn you because you're different or laugh at you because you occasionally enjoy wearing a dress or soft and delicate lingerie or because in your heart of hearts you really long to be allowed to serve others.

We want SissyLand to be a fun placei... a self-validating placei... a place you'll enjoy coming back to; because in doing so you go away feeling better about yourself and about these unique interests and fantasies we share. We hope this will prove to be a place that is frequented and enjoyed by both men and Women... and a place where the Genetic Girls and the Faux Girls can meet and talk and have a genuinely good time together -- sharing their common humanity and femininity and building lasting friendships out of that sharing. Lastly, we hope this is a place where genetic males won't have to be afraid to admit they like wearing frilly things or that they have a feminine side, or that they love to be of service.

We think you get the idea.

Over time, we'd like SissyLand to grow to become a global community of warm wonderful and caring people who support one another, who teach and learn from each other, who openly accept and approve of each individual - no matter what their interests, sexual orientation, or unique kink may be… But most importantly we'd like for this fledgling Internet community to become one whose members sincerely care about one another, who understand and recognize the inherent value of what we've tried to create here enough that they'll want to support it, encourage others to join the community and help make the community and the concept grow.

We don't really expect that SissyLand unaided will be able to fundamentally change the world we live in… at least not this year or next. That's simply too much to expect. But we do hope to change the minds and hearts of at least a few individuals and in the process build a unique community of like-minded individuals. Along the way, we hope to improve ourselves and help each other out as well. We firmly believe that by being able to come here and meet others like yourself, and talk with them, and seek their advice, and get a feeling of acceptance and a sense of community from others who come here as well, over time you may find yourself fundamentally transformed in the process.

By providing a safe, sane place for you to come and relax and indulge your personal fantasies, it is our intent that you'll go away feeling enriched and refreshed, more comfortable and more self-confident, and much less afraid to be who and what you really are. If we manage to achieve these things, we'll feel we have accomplished a great deal. In short, it is our goal to build a global community one heart at a time and in embarking on that quest to keep in mind the immortal words of President John Kennedy 40 years ago when he said, "If that journey is 1,000 miles, let history record that we in this place and at this time took the first step!"

So that's our story and we're sticking to it. We aren't here to change the world, but we do hope you'll find you like this place and want to come back and visit here (and yes, even participate!) again.

Each individual's situation is different. We don't expect that most of our visitors and members are going to suddenly decide to go grocery shopping in their maid's uniforms, or that you're going to begin making business trips across country dressed in drag either! But we would like to open your minds and thoughts to such possibilities. Because over the years we've learned there is a good deal of fun and pleasure to be had both in thinking about and in doing such things.

Perhaps one day, if we've gotten it right, SissyLand will be talked about like an urban legend... or an Aesop's Fable, or a children's fairy tale. You know something like:

Once upon a time there was a place called SissyLand where all the boys wore dresses and got spanked when they were bad and the girls ran things and made all the decisions...

The sign at the edge of the SissyLand Village reads...

"Welcome to SissyLand, the legendary El Dorado of sissyhood... a mythical Brigadoon kind of place where the Women are always in charge and the guys had darn well better get used to it!"

And they all lived happily ever after...
